This behavior enables end-users to seek a progressive media download of FLV or MP4 files.
How it works
When this feature is disabled, seeking into the file isn’t possible, as the edge server ignores any time offsets submitted in the request. With the feature enabled, the edge server converts time offsets into byte offsets to deliver content from the requested point in the file.
Random Seek works best with Large File Optimization enabled.
