Rules are used to combine matches and relevant behaviors to determine how to handle incoming requests to your property.
How does it work?
Rules are containers for matches, behaviors, and other rules. They launch behaviors when all or any of the matches in a rule apply. Behaviors are specific to a particular rule, and they handle and process the content passing through the Akamai network.
Why use it?
Add rules to filter requests to your property and trigger behaviors depending on your needs. You can configure your property to serve or cache alternative content, redirect traffic or authorize access based on the criteria included in the incoming requests.
